Help Us Save Our Baby Girl

We met our little angel when she was just 4 weeks old. My husband was working in Newark when this tiny kitten came up to him out of nowhere, scared, but full of heart. He couldn’t walk away. From that day on, she’s been our baby, our comfort, our joy.

She’s been there through every moment… curling up beside us when we’re sad, making us laugh when we need it most, and filling our home with warmth and love. We can’t imagine a day without her.

On November 1st, everything changed. We noticed she was struggling to breathe, panting and exhausted so we rushed her to the ER. They found fluid in her lungs and drained 130ml, which helped her for a little while. But her infection is much more serious than we hoped. The vets say she needs to be hospitalized right away to fight a severe lung infection, and the cost could range from $7,000 to $10,000, depending on how long she needs to stay and what care she requires. She has lemonade animal insurance and they have declined all bills so far and won’t cover anything.

We never imagined being in a position where we’d have to ask for help, but this little soul is our world. We can’t give up on her. We’d rather work every extra hour, do everything we can, than let her go without a fight.
