Who is Cyrus Fillmore?
It is hard to describe Cyrus Fillmore. He is known as Cy the Drum guy to many. He is the creator of the Chief's drum that has sounded across the stadium. He is DIY with Uncle Cy on Youtube, with his latest chainsaw video. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfyJ8r_ArJb5oQI4TdmdTVw Cy is an artist, carpenter, drum maker, blacksmith, welder, and toy maker. I think he is most known though, for his willingness to help others. Cy Fillmore is a helper. He created a wooden plane for a young man that was terminal. He has helped people fix their cars and home. He created a wood burning/cooking stove for a homeless community. This time it is Cyrus Fillmore that needs our help.
Why does Cy need help?
1. Medical Expenses/Medicine
Last summer Cy was diagnosed with Lipo Sarcoma Cancer. He had surgery to remove the tumor. He spent the fall in Radiation Therapy and this year he began a series of Chemo. Cy was a Marine and the VA is covering much of his expenses. The medications and equipment they send him home with however, has to be paid out of his pocket.
2. Lost Income
Cy makes most of his living from his carpentry skills and his Youtube channel. His chemo requires a week stay in the hospital each time. He has already completed two of these sessions and still have two more to go.
