All who knows Wade loves Wade! Wade Nyhuis is our wonderfully dynamic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving friend. For years he helped guide our youth at Alleluia! - in both the confirmation and high school ministries and his impact on our youth and their families continues to this day. Great friendships have grown through his ministry and he worked hard to all he achieved.
Recently, Wade relocated to Colorado, he just left his job at Amazon and to undertake a new, much desired position at United Airlines. He was so excited to be a part of the United team, his goal was within reach. There was a downside in his new plan, which was a persistent pain in his side which increased to the point of needing a doctor's visit.
What Wade learned would change his course immediately. With a tumor on his colon, he would need surgery and would be unable to finish training until after his treatments were completed. Currently, Wade is not working and without robust medical insurance.
Wade is scheduled to have surgery on March 3rd and will be required to have a hospital stay of 6 - 12 days. After that, the road to recovery is undetermined at this point in time.
Anything you can donate, would be greatly appreciated by Wade and everyone who loves him. He has touched so many lives!
Regardless of your donation, we also believe in the power of prayer. Please take a moment to say a prayer for him and a fast and full recovery.
