Many of you know and care about Henry, and a lot of you already know from my updates that he recently suffered a stroke and serious infection that required open-heart surgery. As his wife, it has been devastating to watch him go through something so life-changing, and his road to recovery will be a long one.
Henry will be out of work for an extended period of time, and the medical bills and living expenses are already overwhelming. I’ve had to step back from work to care for him, which has made things even more difficult.
I’m reaching out for support—whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this page—to help lighten the load during this time. Every act of kindness means the world to us and will allow Henry to focus on what matters most: healing.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your love and support. ❤️
Update on Henry
Tomorrow, Henry will be leaving St. Luke’s and transferring to Aurora Summit Medical Center to begin the next step in his recovery. He has been accepted into the inpatient rehabilitation program, where he will receive intensive therapy to work on the deficits from his stroke.
These past three weeks have been incredibly difficult, but Henry has already come so far. We know he still has a long road ahead, and this rehab program is an important part of helping him regain strength and independence.
We are beyond grateful for the continued prayers, love, and support. Every message, donation, and share of this page makes a difference in helping us focus on Henry’s healing and recovery. Thank you for walking alongside us during this time. ❤️
