Hi!

My name is Emily and I've started this go fund me for my mom (Sarah) and my step dad (Dan). As most of you know the cutest little man Colter came into the world on July 4! He was fast and furious and so loved instantly.

Mom and baby were healthy and happy! They were home for almost a week before they had to head back to the hospital as Sarah was not feeling as well as she should have. Late last night (July 9th) Sarah was diagnosed with postpartum cardiomyopathy. A rare form of heart failure. She is being taken care of and Dan and Colter are alongside her in the hospital. We are waiting on the time of when she will be flown to Prince George where there is a cardiologist that will be seeing her. Then they can talk about what comes next in terms of treatment and they are also more equipped to care for her there right now. We are aware this is not a short term hospital visit. Along with that comes unexpected bills, food and hotel stays for Dan and baby Colter. As well as neither of them are working during this time.

Hoping we can ease the stress for the family during this time. So they can focus on baby and taking care of my mom ❤
