Hello everyone, I've started this gofundme page for my best friend Pixie. Pixie and I have been side by side for the last 13 years. I've watched her grow from a kitten into a mini lion (she's a ginger) and she's been by my side through happy times and sad days. Currently, Pixie is in an animal hospital and the veterinarians do not know currently why she has fallen ill. Testing, housing, and medication for your fur babies are costly. I am a month away from graduating from a two-year program; leaving me financially unprepared for this. I am asking for help in these hard times, even if you're not in a place to help, please keep her in your hearts and send healing energies. Pixie and I thank you ❤️

UPDATE: She has been diagnosed with Pancreatitis, it has been a long two months of on and off again flareups involving a lot of medication as well as alot of diet changes. Over the last couple months she has drastically lost weight, yesterday I took her in to have her bloodwork updated, and I got results back today that she could be cholangiohepatitis as well as her blood sugar is quite high. This is now going to involve more testing and medication. Another ultrasound, as well as a special needle, that will take a biopsy of her liver. These next steps involve costly medication, testing and potentially insulin for diabetes. I'm at a loss for words, this is my first time dealing with all the senior things pets come with. She is my world and I want her to have the best of her life in her remaining years. Thank you for your love and support.
