On June 30, 2022 Jodi received the diagnosis that will make any one's heart skip a beat. Cancer. And a rare form of it.

 

The Orthopedic Oncologist Team @ Duke confirmed through scans and biopsies that Jodi had a super rare form of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in her upper leg area. Praise fully, further scans showed that it had NOT spread to her lungs. We shout for joy for that!

 

Jodi will undergo 5 weeks of daily radiation at Duke in Durham, hoping that it will shrink her cancer enough to perform surgery 4 weeks after radiation is complete.  We are praying that she will be cancer free after the treatment and surgery!!

It takes a willingness to be a part of others’ lives in order to have inspirational moments that cause people to stop and take notice and see Jesus.

 

Jodi and her family have been such an inspiration and Jesus to many others; now it's our turn to do the same for them.

 

Any amount is a blessing! Even $5 will help purchase a gallon of gas for the daily trips to Duke. Their health insurance deductible is fairly significant and this will also take a huge burden off of their normal salaries if we can make the fish and loaves multiply for His glory and Jodi's healing !!!
