Humanitarian Relief Fund for Lebanon
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family and our community,
Myself and other Lebanese diaspora brothers and sisters of mine are starting a fundraiser to try to help as much as we can and as many people as possible of the 1 million displaced people in Lebanon. That is about 1/6 of the entire Lebanese population and that number will keep on growing by the day with the outlook ahead.
People have left their homes in fear of them being hit by bombs but have nowhere to go. Our country was already at the brink of famine, but the current events are really putting the country in a massive humanitarian disaster.
These funds will first go into securing and sheltering those sleeping in public places and on sidewalks as the days get cooler and cooler. Secondly, they will allow us to secure food for the vulnerable. And thirdly, ensure medicine for those who need it. That is for the short term goal we are trying to achieve here.
The funds will be directly sent to Beit El Baraka, coordinating directly with the Emergency Relief Room, setup by the Governor of Beirut in their headquarters.
Beit El Barak is a well vetted and respectable charity we know personally and have worked with in the several times, which provides support to at risk people across Lebanon.
This is a time for unity and for working together. Please help, no matter the amount. It will help move the needle.
Much Love and thank you in advance,
Your Lebanese friends
