Cataract Surgery for Oreo

Unfortunately, our baby Oreo has the potential of going blind. She has cataract fully on her left eye and moderate on her right eye.
Cataract is an opacity or cloudiness in the lens. We are seeking help from our friends and family to provide surgery for both of her eyes. This surgery has an 80-90% chance for Oreo to fully see. In order to perform surgery, Oreo will have to go through a Retinal Test costing about $450 , following a primary vet appointment for Pre-anethestic blood work and sterile urine testing (cost will be determined). Cataract Surgery for both eyes costs about $5,000 with 6 follow up appointments right after Surgery $180 each and then one every six to eight months.

If you know us (Vianeli and Kelvin) we love our Oreo. She is kind to everyone she knows and gives lots of love when she meets others sometimes a little too much love. Oreo is one of a kind and a cheerful spirit that she is often mistaken for a puppy. Her favorite hobbies are Hiking and Running in the park. Oreo is 7 years old and has so much more life to live with US. She is Irreplaceable.
