Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
A loving wife, dedicated mother, generous friend, and caring coworker, Geraldine Ngo-Gobaleza suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm which required immediate emergency surgery on November 11, 2021.
The surgery was successful and she has been under strict supervision in the ICU since then. She has had many strokes post-surgery. The most concerning is the stroke she had in her brain stem, which is what controls her body’s automatic functions. The neurologist is hopeful that she can wake up from this; of course she will have to go through a long recovery process. This is where we can all help.
Geraldine will indefinitely remain in the hospital to recover. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover the extended period of time that she will need to stay in order to get the treatment she needs.
Our goal is to raise at minimum of $10,000, where all funds raised will go directly towards out-of-pocket medical expenses to support Geraldine's recovery.
We are asking anyone who is able, to please contribute to this cause. No amount is too big or too small.
If you've known Geraldine at all, or have read this story and feel compelled to help with her rehabilitation journey and her return home, it would be more than appreciated!
Please share her story to anyone you may know to help this cause.
Thank you to all who donate!
