Hello, my name is Mohammed, and I am 24 years old. I once had a home and a small business in northern Gaza, but both were destroyed in the recent conflict. In the second month of the war, my family and I were forced to flee to the south. We lost our home, my livelihood, and everything we had saved—everything I had worked so hard to build.
Now, we are living in a tent under very harsh conditions. Food is scarce and expensive, and we rely on charity for meals, as supplies in the markets are running out. I have no remaining resources to support my family.
I am reaching out with the hope of finding help for our new life in south Gaza. Your support would mean the world to us as we try to rebuild our lives. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. Thank you for considering helping us in this time of great need.

I met Mohammed through a friend I have in Gaza. I am positive he is currently in Gaza. Mohammed plans to use any money raised to help his 8 siblings (5 brothers, 3 sisters), his parents, and himself get the following:
- Food to eat (ex: a single egg costs $4, 2lb bag of rice $20, chicken $50, other meat $70)
- Buy one or two more tents (a good tent costs $2000). One tent is small and their current tent is not in good shape
- General hygiene products for him and his family
- Blankets ($100). They were not able to take any blankets and do not have anything to keep warm as it gets cold.
- Clothes. They were not able to bring clothes besides what they were wearing. (ex: a regular t-shirt costs $50)
