Hi my name is Christina and I need your help. Last night our dog Stella got under the fence and into our neighbour’s backyard where she was attacked by two German Shepherds. I called her name and she didn’t come so I started looking for her and that’s when I realized that she was in distress on the other side of the fence. I rushed her to the emergency clinic in Scarborough and they took her in to start caring for her. The initial estimate was for $8000 but I received a call from the surgeon today and he informed me that she’ll need two or possibly three surgeries. If anyone is interested in helping us save our 10 year old dachshund who is the most amazing and sweet dog, we would be so grateful. As I’m sure many of you know the cost adds up quickly and she will need aftercare once she’s released as well. If you’re not able to donate towards the cost, perhaps you would be interested in just taking a minute to hope the best for Stella and send positivity her way as that would also be greatly appreciated and beneficial, as staying positive is important when things like this happen. Stella is loved by many people and known as being a wonderful, playful and loving dog. Whatever amount of money is raised will be put towards getting Stella better and back home where she belongs and ensuring that she has the proper care needed to continue recovering afterwards.
