On October 5, 2025, our beautiful Marie Walker-Helmit went home to be with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to those who got the honor to know her.

Marie quickly showed love to the people she met. She went out of her way to always be there if you needed help and was truly a friend to confide in. Marie was an admirable woman, being that no matter what she went through, she always had a positive attitude and saw the best of things in each situation and was a testament of God’s love. Marie lived her life with grace, kindness and unwavering faith. She was an absolute warrior through all of her health setbacks. Her love for God and others was evident in everything she did. Marie touched countless lives with her love, friendship and gentle spirit. Through her words of encouragement, her prayers, and her presence, she showed us her strength through her incredible faith. Marie loved deeply. She fought hard. She was a woman that many looked up to.

She was more than a mother, sister and friend, Marie was a blessing and encouragement to anyone who crossed her path. We all will miss her smile, her hugs and her friendship that she expressed to so many.

We are reaching out to family and friends to help honor Marie’s life and support her family with the funeral expenses and any remaining medical costs, to ease the burden on her family during this incredibly difficult time.

Every gift, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward Marie’s family for these upcoming expenses. More than anything we ask for your prayers, for comfort, for strength and for peace as we mourn her loss and celebrate her beautiful life.
