Williams Community Health Center has relied on the generous support of individuals who believe that access to quality healthcare is a basic right to which all members of our community is entitled. Your support today makes it possible for anyone in Mecklenburg County - regardless of insurance, income, or ability to pay - to receive the responsive medical care that they deserve. The center needs funds for infrastructure items such as building maintenance, medical equipment, home-less programs, pharmaceuticals, community out reach, upgraded phone & technology systems, grant proposal & preparation, day to day operation expenses & a mobile health services vehicle.
In the new millennium, C.W. Williams continues to rely on partnerships and dedication to provide quality healthcare for the underserved, uninsured and underinsured.

Dr. Charles Warren Williams envisioned a place where the medically underserved and economically disadvantaged population in Mecklenburg County could receive quality and affordable healthcare. His passion to serve led to the founding of the... C.W Williams Community Health Center, Inc. (CWWCHC).
For more than 30 years, CWWCHC has been an anchor in the Charlotte community and continues to provide primary and preventive care and health education. While collaborating with local businesses and religious institutions to improve the economic development of the Charlotte area, the CWWCHC also serves as a community resource for local high schools, colleges, universities, and other healthcare organizations. In 1981.
C.W. Williams Community Health Center has been providing comprehensive healthcare to the Charlotte/Mecklenburg Community for 30 Years. The Health Center accepts Medicare/Medicaid, private insurance and offers a discounted fee structure for families who qualify.
C.W. WILLIAMS COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER, INC. (CWWCHC) provides comprehensive services to meet the unique needs of its patient population.
C.W. WILLIAMS COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER (CWWCHC) is a federally-qualified, private non-profit (501-C3) organization that provides comprehensive, community-oriented healthcare to the medically underserved and economically disadvantaged in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
Our practice accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance, and offers a discounted fee structure based on a sliding fee scale.
CWWCHC provides services to the uninsured, insured, medicare, medicaid residents of Charlotte-Mecklenburg with the follwing comprehensive and community-oriented services:
Diabetes Program
HIV/AIDS Program
Homeless Health Care Initiative
Mammography Screening Program
Women’s Health Program
K.I.C.K.S. – Kids Increasing Confidence and Keeping in Shape
Pharmacy Program
CWWCHC has expanded it’s pharmacy services, offering personalized service where your doctor and pharmacist partner to manage your care. There are no long waits and all insurances are accepted. CWWCHC patients can save an average of 40% using our pharmacy services even with no insurance. We offer brand name medications and serve our patients at our Wilkinson Blvd. location.
