Please Help Harley

My name is Cathy and my beautiful dog Harley made a fateful decision to take off running last night, 11/28/22. At about 6:30 p.m. she ran into one of the most busy deadly streets in North Carolina. My worst fear had come to pass. I knew living on a busy street like that would be very risky for anyone with a dog. She got clipped on her rear end by not one but two cars and one of them was a police car. But she survived that, I got her to the hospital, she had some internal injuries thankfully not as severe as we thought. Unfortunately her pelvis is a wreck. Fractured SI joint, dislocated left hip and a fractured ileum. However this hospital has a board certified surgeon who can repair the SI joint. Unfortunately with me living at or just below the poverty level and on Social Security retirement, I really don't have the funds to pay the probably $6,000 including hospitalization and surgery. I have looked around for other sources and do not qualify for credit cards or Care Credit or any of the quick money opportunities.

To be quite honest any amount of money will be helpful because I will by hook or by crook find a way to raise the rest, but they won't do the surgery without a significant down payment. I don't want to have to take my Harley home with a broken body to try to raise enough money in time to save her life. So the title of this GoFundMe is so very accurate, please help Harley.
