Help my Uncle Max recover from COVID

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Michelle, I am Max Fernandes’ niece, and I am asking for help for him and my
Aunt Chris as he recovers from COVID.

As many of you know, besides being a member of The Fat Chance Band, my uncle is a self-employed contractor running the US Mail from PA to Forks and LaPush. Last Tuesday he became extremely ill while working, and had to be hospitalized in Forks. Even though he was fully vaccinated, he tested positive for COVID.

They started treatment, and anticipated he would be home by Sunday. That did not happen as his condition worsened despite treatment, and the decision was made to transfer him to OMC in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The current update from the Dr is that his prognosis is good. He will recover, however it will not be a quick recovery, and it will be some time before he can fully return to work.

Not only does he face the additional expenses for having to have someone cover his route while he recovers for an extended period of time, but his truck will now require some major repairs that were unexpected.

Thank you for your help and support during this difficult time for our family.
