Molly’s Surgery
Molly is my beautiful adopted Beagle Jack
Russell. I adopted her at four from a rescue place
About a year later she developed a mass cell
tumor that I removed. I had my insurance at the
time to pay for it, but when it came back this
year again in full force, my insurance said the
would not pay for it and had put a cap on the
insurance, and said it was a pre existing
condition, meaning they would not pay for
anything at this time. I have spent over $4,000 of my own money, but now the tumor, after trying all kinds of chemo, has still not shrunk.
The only options now are to amputate her leg,
so that the tumor doesn’t spread anymore than
where it has; which is her left lymph node and
the left leg, or euthanasia. I am absolutely
devastated that it has come down to this, but it’s either surgery or putting her down, and she has
so much life in her still. She loves to eat, and
loves her treats. On our walks, she loves to rub
her head on the soft green grass outside.
Molly is only nine, and I would hate to think that if I can’t afford to do this surgery, that I am now
forced to do the inevitable. Please if you could
help us, you would be saving her life for many
more years to come.
