Support our friend Jesse's treatment and battle against cancer...
Our friend, dad, co-worker, and overall nice, sweet and amazing guy Jesse Garcia just completed three months of chemo for colon cancer.
As you can imagine or maybe even experienced, it was a physical, emotional and financial drain on Jesse. Unless you were told you would never know he was facing the biggest challenge of his life. He went to work knowing co-pays had to be met and gas getting him to and from treatments were the priority of every paycheck.
In today's world, life itself, is expensive and hard especially as a single father. Throughout Jesse's chemo treatment he self funded and always put on a brave face to try to convince everyone he was good. He never wavered in his responsibilities to his job and family.
That was then, this is now. Jesse experienced some tumor shrinkage with chemo but his doctors have recommended five days a week of radiation for seven weeks. The end goal is to surgically remove a shrunk tumor and for Jesse to be able to regain his strength and health.
We want to thank you in advance if you are able to support Jesse. The goal is to ensure basic needs are met and he is able to afford treatment. Money raised will be used for insurance co-pays, gas to and from appointments (over 100 miles traveled each treatment day) and to support his sick leave pay.
Jesse is going to experience challenges that your contributions will help him fight. It will help minimize the potential anxiety and stress the added cost of this treatment will add to his life.
Through your support we can help Jesse to continue his fight. Beat this ugly cancer and allow him to continue to devote his full time and attention to his life and most importantly - his three children and a grandson. His children are his world and there is nothing he would not do or go through to be there for them.
Thank you again. Your prayers and support make all the difference in this fight.
