With just one class left to graduate, I was told by the University of North Texas that I would be able to graduate with my Master's of Social Work degree in Summer of 2022 if I completed a field course (An unpaid internship with 40 hours a week) and an online course through a partner university. Unbeknownst to me after being accepted and enrolled in the online course, the head of the Social Work department at the partner university dropped me from the course because their policy was only to accept their own students, completely juxtaposing the agreed upon degree plan by UNT. With no recourse or support from UNT, I now must fly to class on Tuesdays from North Carolina in order to finish my last course due to relocation under the guise of the aforementioned degree plan presented by UNT and predetermined and cemented plans for my family.
Any and everything helps and I truly appreciate it all.
