CWFL x Think College Now Charity Kickball

Think College Now Elementary, a college-focused district elementary school in Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood. Founded in 2003 by a committed group of families and teachers, TCN seeks to give each student the tools they need to determine their life’s path. Twice named a California Distinguished School, TCN is known for its unique college-going culture, dedicated teachers, rigorous academics and authentic community partnership. Our mission at Think College Now is that all students will have the tools to choose their life’s path and desired occupation with an equitable opportunity to attend college and pursue their dreams. We believe that access to college is the key to bringing about educational equity for our children. We work relentlessly to help our students develop the habits to make the dramatic student achievement gains required for college entrance.

CWFL CHARITY KICKBALL TOURNAMENT:
CWFL’s event of the summer is officially here! Please join us as we host a summer BBQ at Crissy Fields on August 16th. At the park, we will be hosting a charity kickball game. The event is $10 to play or attend, and all donations will be given to Think College Now Elementary, a college-focused district elementary school in Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood. With the school year coming upon us, this is an incredible opportunity to raise money for a school in need that is right in our community. Additionally, free tacos will be provided.
