This campaign is to help the East Chapel Hill open ultimate team raise funds to travel to the Indy Invite tournament this spring.  As a club sport, the East team received no funding from the school or the athletic booster club.

East is one of the top 25 high school open ultimate teams in the country as ranked by Ultiworld.  This tournament is an opportunity for the team to compete against other top-ranked teams from around the country.  This trip will mean a great deal to a team that has played together for several years and has an outstanding reputation for upholding the Spirit of the Game.  Your generous donation will make this an experience they will remember long after they come home.

The money raised will be used to help offset the cost of travel to this tournament.  It is very important that no player miss this experience for cost reasons, so the priority for the funds raised will be to help players who could otherwise not attend.  The team is staying with generous host families to minimize expenses beyond the cost of travel.

The team needs these funds by April 1, 2016, although  we would like to have funds in place by March 7 to make the first payment on our travel costs.
