So I have never started one of these campaigns before but then I have never needed one. Recently a good friend of mine has been hit with the thing all Millennials fear, medical bills and unemployment. In the past year she has been diagnosed with a disabling genetic disease called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. This lead to other diagnosis including Diverticulitis, Fibromyalgia, Narcolepsy, Myofascial Pain Syndrome, GERD, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and Dysautonomia. Basically she got clubbed with the healthcare cudgel and now needs some help but does not want to ask for it.

Due to her situation she was on unemployment but that ran out about 3 weeks ago. Then she had to have surgery in order to address the Diverticulitis. Currently the only source of income she has available is her amazing boyfriend James who has been supporting both of them, even though he has some of the same health problems (the household just can’t seem to get a break some days).

So the problem is that she needs help, and has lots of pride, we love her for this it is what makes her adorable the scrappy lil girl from Alaska. Luckily, I do not share this problem and have no problem asking strangers for money. I am sure once this gets out she will either cry or be pissed but meh if it helps her I don’t care.

I found out the total minimum amount of money she needs in order to cover the hospital bills but I am hoping this campaign can raise a bit more and help her truly get back on her feet, as soon as possible, after all rent for November is coming and it is gettig cold out.
