Bills for Bill

As most of you know my step dad, Bill, is current undergoing chemo and radiation. His employers have been so gracious in still allowing some support through these weeks of treatment. However, Bill will be switching to long term disability here soon.. this will leave he and my mom without pay for a month. This is a tough spot for my mom to be in. As she is taking Bill to all his treatments, she can’t take on a job that would allow her to support them and be there for his appointments. We also know this is hard for Bill. He is a hardworking man who has always gone above and beyond for his family, and to provide. He is also a man who will not ask for help. Though, he helps whoever is in need without a second thought, && without expecting anything in return. Cancer robs you of many things. So I call upon the people surrounding my mom and bill to not allow them to be robbed of the ability to focus on his treatments and his health first and foremost, over financial burdens. We want Bill to remain in good spirits and free of stress. Bill has 1 chemo, and 14 radiations left for the first cancer found. After that he will be treated for the cancer found on his right kidney. He has a long road ahead, so if we could lay down one stepping stone together on his path to recovery, to make for an easier journey, I know he and my mom would be forever grateful.
