Chelsea Olivia Turner was born 11 weeks early on 25/02/2012 weighing a tiny 2lbs12oz.
Chelsea is classed as having a life limiting illness after she suffered 2 bilateral grade 4 IVH ( bleeds on her brain ) at birth. This has resulted in chelsea having exstensive brain damage, causing Cerebral Palsy in all of her body.
These complications means that at 3 years old Chelsea still cant hold her own head or roll over. Her Cerebal Palsy causes her whole body to have very painful spasms. Chelsea does not feed orally, so she is fed via a pump and GJ button. Chelsea also have extreamlly bad acid refulx and even though she has her stomache drained 24/7 she is still sick acid which burns her face.
Chelsea is also blind with very sensitive hearing causing her to be easily startled, she does react visually to a few colours and highly reflective objects. To top all this off Chelsea has epilepsy causing seizures various times throughout the day.
With all these health issues chelsea has to travel a lot in the car and needs a specialist car seat, with no financial assistance for car seats we have decided to fund raise for the £2195 needed for the new car seat.
We are very thankful for everyone's kindness in helping Chelsea and ourselves to meet this goal
