Financial assistance while recovering

Hi my name is Kirbi. On Sunday, Sept 11th, my horse and I had a horrific accident. He rared up and fell straight back on to me while I was in the saddle. Pinning me to the ground under him. He couldn’t get up so he continued to roll across my whole body until he finally got off of me. I couldn’t move. I just laid there and screamed for help. We were on the back of a pasture 45 miles from

town with no cell service. We managed to find people just across a creek bed with a vehicle and Jim hauled me in to town after dragging me in to the truck . After a couple miles ranch land driving we made it to the highway and drove as fast as we could to the hospital. I could tell I had a collapsed lung and something serious wrong with my my left hip. We got rushed in to the emergency room and did X-rays and CT scans that showed a complete femur/hip fracture, pelvic fracture, multiple broken ribs, collapsed lung and three discs compromised in my lower back. L1-3.

they life flighted me to El Paso where I have been for nearly a week with. I had surgery on my left hip. Put in a rod and screws and am having to learn to walk again. It will be a long road to recovery.
