Hi, I’m Aaron and I’m hoping to raise money to cover major surgery for my dog, Oliver, a Jack Russell mix.

I rescued Oliver from a shelter 9 years ago. Little did I know Oliver would help save my life 7 years later. I have been sober for 1 ½ years. Oliver got me through the most difficult time of my life and now it is my turn to support Oliver. Unfortunately, I'm not in the financial position to pay for Oliver's surgery.

In February Oliver went in for his yearly exam. The vet urgently called me to report Oliver's calcium level was extremely elevated. After numerous tests and second opinions Oliver was given the diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism from a benign tumor. To regulate Oliver's calcium, the affected gland must be removed.

The estimate for the surgery is between $5500.00 and $7000.00. Unfortunately, I do not have pet insurance, nor do I have a credit card. I am reaching out to the community in hopes of raising enough money to cover the surgery.

I want to get this surgery scheduled as soon as possible. The more time that passes the more the calcium increases and the more damage that could take place to Oliver.

Anyone who knows Oliver knows that he is full of never-ending energy and his love for everyone. I just want to get him back to normal as soon as possible, so if you are able to help, even just a little bit (or by sharing this!), we would both be forever grateful.
