Today, I come on here to ask for your support. Although it is hard for me to ask for this kind of support, or any support in general, unfortunately, I am finding myself with no other option. As some of you know, I gave birth to a baby boy back in May of 2024. His birth was not only traumatic for him but also for me. During labor, the unbelievable happened, leading to an emergency c-section as my uterus had ruptured, and both him and I were at risk of losing our lives. Due to this traumatic birth, I was unable to work, which left our family in a great deal of financial strain. Even though I have a job now, the medical bills keep piling on, and we can’t seem to get out of the financial struggles.

I also had to take a leave of absence from my doctoral program, and I hope to return in the fall to finish my PhD after 8 years. This last year of school, I have to pay out of pocket. So, I come to you all for your support as I try and find a way to help my family stay afloat with medical bills, so I can pay for school. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
