Help Raven Get Top Surgery

Edit: The goal has been raised to $12,000 as I am unsure if my insurance will pay for my surgery any longer. This is an on going issue that I'm attempting to deal with, but until then, I'm being forced to plan for paying out of pocket. Please bare with me during this time, and I thank you for the continued support.

My name is Raven Rodriguez, my pronouns are they/them, and I'm a transgender person who is trying to raise money for top surgery. My health insurance should pay for at least most of it, which eases that burden. However, I will still need to pay for hotel fees, healing aids, self-care for both pre and post surgery, and transportation to, from, and around my clinic of choice. This initial $6,800 should cover the basics of these issues, as well as GoFundMe's donation fees. I'm currently in the legal and medical process of attaining surgery, and hope to accomplish this within the next year or two!

I've known I was trans since I was a young teenager, and have desired top surgery for many years. As my dysphoria gets worse, this gender affirming surgery becomes more and more necessary for me to achieve. Every dollar counts towards my goal, and I will also be working behind the scenes to contribute to this goal with my own money as well!
