Help With Savik's Life-Saving Surgery

Hey everyone,

My name is Blue and my sweet puppy's name is Savik. The past week has been a living nightmare due to Savik having to get emergency surgery to fix a hole in his lungs caused by a ruptured bullae, which is a small air pocket that forms in the lungs. When it ruptures, it allows air from the lungs to leak into the chest cavity (where it's not supposed to be). It's fatal if left untreated

At first, they couldn't tell what was wrong, so they ended up doing multiple CT scans, blood tests, and radiographs to figure it out. After extensive testing they sent us over to OSU for them to perform surgery to remove the top right section of his lung, which required a visit to the ICU afterwards and a plethora of medication during and after the procedure.

It has been especially painful and scary because Savik and I have spent basically every minute together since I got him as a puppy, I take him to work, and I center my whole world around him. He has saved my life in multiple ways and I'm reaching out for help so that I can hopefully return the favor.

I'm reluctant to ask for help because I am hyper independent, but I am graciously asking for help to cover Savik's vet bills. I understand funds are extremely tight for most of us, so even a like and a share on social media can go a long way. I appreciate all the love and support we've already received! We love y'all so much and it truly means the world to both of us. I've spent every last bit of my savings to cover this and currently have $300 in my bank account, so literally anything helps.

All of the funds raised will go directly towards his vet bill, there are more costs involved however I'm only asking help for his vet bill.
