Hello friends and family, a coworker of mine, Ernest, and his wife, Yvette, just recently found out that their 11-year-old son, Mason, was diagnosed with non-germinomatous germ cell tumor, which is a rare and aggressive brain tumor. This type of cancer is extremely difficult to treat and requires intense chemotherapy and radiation. Yvette wanted to share the name of Mason’s diagnosis to raise awareness about this rare cancer, but also to honor her son’s fight.

Mason is in the best care right now however the reality is that medical bills, hospital stays, MRI’s and related expenses are quickly adding up. Mason is such a sweet and loving boy, and his life has already changed so much, like not being able to play, not being able to go to school anymore, and he’s simply not able to just be a kid.
