Marco was a genuine soul, loved and admired by many. As TSU grieves his passing we lean on each other for strength, encouragement, and comfort- which I believe confirms us to be a big blue family. Apart of multiple outreach and service organizations including Generation of Educated Men and the Gospel Choir, he appreciated the simple gifts of life. Marco aspired to be an attorney and was headed to law school after his expected graduation date of December 2014. His older sister Brigette, who also attended TSU, was the guidance and support he needed to be away from his hometown of Memphis, TN. Marco passed in his sleep for reasons that are currently under medical investigation. Our prayers go out to his family and every person affected by his sudden absence. To show our condolences, GEM is asking for donations to help the family with any expenses necessary to deal with this tragic event. There will also be a candle-lighting, planned by SGA, during the start of the semester. Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Rest in Peace Marco. WE WILL FOREVER LOVE YOU.
