In November, Todd suddenly found himself headed for surgery after a tumor the size of a golf ball was discovered in an MRI.  The mass was pressing against his brain stem and needed immediate medical attention.  After a long, all day, emotionally draining, but successful surgery, he began the long and slow journey of recovery.  Todd spent more than a month in the hospital (which included Thanksgiving and Christmas), but then was finally released to go home.  The recovery continues, but with the incurred medical expenses, ongoing therapy, and anticipated continued treatments, the medical bills only continue to increase.  As if this weren’t enough, another mass was discovered on one of his kidneys and he is now anticipating surgery to remove the malignant tumor on his kidney before he can undergo radiation to treat the remnants of the brain tumor that couldn’t be fully removed with surgery.

 
We are starting this GoFundMe to raise funds that will be used to help the Peter’s family cover various medical expenses, therapy, prescriptions, and loss of wages.  While they have medical insurance, we are all familiar with the reality that it doesn’t cover it all, and major medical doesn’t get much bigger than brain surgery and the recovery that goes with it. In addition, Todd has been out of work for the last 9 weeks and for the foreseeable future.
