Not just hospitals, CVIM needs PPE too

Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) has a desperate need, right now. We are still open and caring for our patients, following all the official guidelines. This has created issues different from those we typically face. We are going to need additional and upgraded Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a very long time. Our staff needs N95 masks, face shields, gowns, and gloves when working with individual patients. Our dental providers are among those healthcare providers at the highest risk for catching the COVID-19 virus. This upgraded PPE was not in our annual budget, and we need your help to protect our staff, volunteer providers, and patients. We estimate it is going to cost $10,000 to meet the demand.
