All Things Alpaca is home to many animals, many of whom rely solely on hay to survive.

Summer 2025 saw record high temperatures and months without rainfall, meaning that there is a nationwide shortage of hay in the UK. Most hay is now being imported from France and other places in Europe and, as expected the cost of hay has risen astronomically.

To support our animals, and keep our prices low for all families and care homes that we visit, we are asking for your help to feed our animals this winter.

Hay has quadrupled and it is only set to rise higher over the coming months.
