CVEF - Ethiopia & Rwanda November Mission

This November I will be travelling to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia & Kigali in Rwanda with The Cardiovascular Education Foundation (CVEF). The CVEF 501(c)3 is an international not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the goal of promoting cardiovascular education, advance research, and enhance patient care in underserved communities, with a special focus on sub-Saharan Africa

The purpose of this mission is to deliver equipment and provide assistance during the implantation of Pacemakers and ICD's. In addition to giving patients in these regions access to these life saving treatments, the ultimate goal is to use the opportunity to engage in in-person proctoring and skills transfer to develop the capacity of the local staff in becoming self-sufficient

100% of the proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards funding for this mission so any and all donations is greatly appreciated

All of the equipment that will be used during this mission has been donated by countries around the world with a significant amount coming from here in Ireland. Donations are always welcome.
