**UPDATE** (Please find it in your heart to donate and share this link) Winter underwent both a VSD and ASD repair surgery on her heart on April 8th, 2015. She required blood transfusions and has 24 hour bedside nursing. We are taking turns staying by her during her long hospital recovery, resulting in a loss of work and wages. She still has a very hard road to recovery after this, as this is a lot for her little body to go through all at once. The surgery took place at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
We are still asking for help, as there are a lot of medical and travel expenses attached to her surgery. We have to travel back and forth to Phoenix several times a day in order to be there for Winter, as well as our other children. . We knew when we accepted adopting Winter that she had heart issues, we just did not know the extent. That being said we absolutely would not have done anything differently. Sadly her heart conditions were much more severe than initially anticipated.
Please help in any way you can, any and all donations, no matter how big or small, will be greatly and graciously appreciated.
