My name is David and I have cancer, again. I was first diagnosed in 2013 and I have battled on and off for most of the time. I have lost track of procedures, biopsies, and images. I am at the mercy of the insurance companies and Medicare.

In 2023 I was hospice and miraculously survived. This year I was recommended for proton therapy and need help with the co-insurance. It was previously denied and I am waiting for an appeal. Meanwhile some testing is not covered.

Currently we are between homes staying with friends. My wife is diligently looking for work after a layoff last fall.
