Remy Logan Dumas (and his identical twin brother Lucian Jack) were born on America's birthday, July 4, 2013. These two little firecrackers (now age 11) have been lighting up our lives ever since. They reside in East Taunton with their parents Doug and Melinda Dumas, older sister Keira Noelle (age 14), and twin Siamese cats Miso and Suki. Remy is a student at Martin Middle School. Outside of school, Remy enjoys Legos, Pokemon, all things Star Wars, and listening to the songbook of Aerosmith. His favorite color is orange. His twin brother enjoys the same activities. His sister loves making jewelry, Roblox, and baking.
On June 13, 2025, sweet, funny, helpful, and thoughtful Remy was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. This cancer occurs around the bones in children and young adults, often beginning with the legs, bones of the pelvis, and arms. His treatment plan will include chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. Remy's family has been by his side at Boston Children's Hospital.
Friends and family have come together to support the Dumas family as they navigate through their new normal. With your support, we can help defray the costs associated with making their home wheelchair accessible, a conversion van, and the lifestyle changes that come with a pediatric cancer diagnosis.
