Cutoffs, a five-part micro series written by Jay Stalder
This comedic series will be uploaded in five parts, to a thread on Twitter, embracing its modern themes. Each vignette-like episode cuts off abruptly, at exactly 2:20 (the maximum video length for a pathetic, unverified Twitter account).
Luke and his sister, Libby, are by far the last people they know to be cut off from their parents. And being so late to this party hasn’t made anything any easier, as they’re met with next to no sympathy (least of all from Luke’s jaded and weathered roommates). The vacation is over. No one is in charge. Google 401(k) ???
We're setting a goal of $3,000. Any financial support you could offer would afford us the ability to pay our crew and production team, cover equipment rentals, provide food on set, travel, and yeah...even pay our actors.
Finally a story about young people with no money, made by young people with no money. It’s...time.
