Hi! My name is Jamie and on September 2, I adopted a sweet old lady through The Mylo Foundation. Zoey is a beautiful, docile, senior hound dog that we invited to spend her golden years in our family. After spending months on the concrete floor of the shelter, she finally has a family that loves her.

This week she was not eating and acted like she was in pain. After a vet visit, we learned she had 2 tumors on her spleen. When these rupture, they fill the abdomen with blood/fluid and cause a painful death. Luckily there is a solution: removing the spleen. We just got this sweet girl and want to keep her in our family for as long as possible, so we approved the surgery.
