Hi, my name is Edgy, im a 25 year old trans woman living in Wales.

Recently, NHS Wales have paused all gender affirming surgeries and referrals. I’ve only just gotten on the waitlist for the Welsh Gender Service this year, knowing that it would take me years of waiting before surgery was on the table. My financial position has meant looking at going private has been somewhat of an impossibility, and that’s where this fundraiser comes in.

The dysphoria I face around my body is debilitating. Most days I can’t leave the house, and on the ones that I do I’m in a constant state of panic.

This fundraiser is mainly for one thing, and that’s bottom surgery. It’s by far the biggest expense I’m looking at for my transition, and it’s the care I am most desperate for.

All donations will go towards surgery costs and any surrounding expenses. In terms of the goal set, it’s a rough estimate/assumption. The specific price will be clearer once I’ve been able to speak to surgeons down the line and figure out a plan. Thank you
