It hurts so much to write this.
On Monday, November 20th my beautiful little sister Alyssa Parra, her husband Tony Parra and unborn baby girl, Lilliana passed away. They were taken tragically and unexpectedly in an awful car accident while on their way to the court house to finally take custody of Alyssa’s 8 year old son, Declan Hullinger. I can’t even begin to explain how terrible this entire situation is. Our feelings are all very raw right now.
We (Azlyn Solomon & Daniel Solomon) are seeking custody of our nephew, Declan Hullinger in accordance with Alyssa’s wishes. We are devoted to doing our best to help him through this life changing event, and
honoring my sister and the life she would have wanted for Declan. Alyssa and I had ironically talked about this many times before, and so I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is the right thing to do.
I was not expecting the overwhelming/outpouring love we’ve received. I can hardly begin to thank you all for your messages.
We are making this go fund me account for the sole purpose of helping with any/all unexpected custody expense's, paying for the funeral expenses of Alyssa & the baby, but mostly for Declan. ❤️ (re-location expenses, Christmas & holiday expenses, paper work expenses, and any transitional/immediate needs he may need to get through this)
Please know that Daniel & I are honorable people who want only what’s best for Declan. We are so thankful for any help we may receive as this is such an unexpected adjustment for all.
If you’d like to help you can donate here.
If you’d prefer not to donate here because of tax purposes, and fees or any other reasons we understand.
We are open to venmo (Azlyn-Solomon), or cash app ($SoloDS). If you want to donate in person you can simply give money to us or our close family friend Megan Newbold who will hand deliver it.
I love you all, and can’t express how much we appreciate this.
It takes a village, but I know we can do this and we will all get through this.
