Our family has recently received some bad news regarding our father. About two months ago he started having some health problems which has left him unable to work. After several tests and imaging, the diagnosis has been made, colovesical fistula. That means our dad has an opening from his colon to his bladder causing him pain and other symptoms.

He has finally been scheduled for surgery which will consist of removing the diseased area in his colon. His procedure is on the 15th of August, which seems like a long time since he’s in pain and wants to get it over with but on the other hand not a long time at all when it comes to finances. Fortunately our dad has been blessed to be working prior to this illness so he has almost half saved up already…. But as we all know almost doesn’t count. He has to come up with the remaining $11,455 dollars in order for them to perform the surgery and it is due in full the day before his surgery.

We tell you of our father's medical problems mostly in hopes that you would pray for a speedy recovery and to guide the surgeons hands through surgery. But also to help us raise the money for him to have this surgery.
