Some of you may know Curt's situation of recent. For those that don't, Curtis was involved in a motorbike accident last night. From what he remembers, he struck something on the road that had caused him to flip over. As of last night, his lungs were holding pockets of air, and both lungs were puntured but not collapsed. He suffered 5 broken ribs and a broken scapula. Along with quite a bit of road rash to his left side and damage to his knee. He is in a lot of pain but is hopeful for a speedy recovery.
Everyone who knows Curtis can agree that he is a true friend. One who will drop everything just to help you with anything you need from words of advice and encouragement to physical labor.
All his life, Curtis had a dream to build a premier automotive detail business that would encompass all the necessities that a detail shop would need but on a much larger scale. Back in June of 2016, that dream became a reality. He almost single-handedly built his new dream shop from the ground up including the architecture, framing, sheetrock, paint, electrical, he did it himself. He carried a huge load on his shoulders by continuing to work during the day and build his shop at night with little to no sleep everyday of the week.
His new shop just recently had gotten off the ground, and now he is in the hospital suffering terrible injuries from a motorbike accident. His two hands are what makes his business. Due to his injuries, it will be extremely difficult to continue his work for some time as he needs time to heal.
He has helped a lot of us out, and now it is time for us to give back. With the chance of losing his business that he spent so much time and effort building, let's get together and help Curtis with his medical situation and prevent him from possibly losing his business that is so dear to him.
Thank you everyone for you time, and let's be thankful that this accident didn't turn out to be worse than it is.
Prayers out to you Curtis and a speedy recovery.
