Curtis Roe and Family Fund

Hubert Humphrey once said, "The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have received it."  More exact words could not be spoken about Curtis Roe.  He is hard-working, passionate, a quiet-leader, a dynamic father, a wonderful husband, a Christian, and the greatest friend one could ever ask for.

If you are not aware, Curtis was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on January 20th.  This disease has attacked the white blood cells in Curtis's body and will force him to stay at IU's Simon Cancer Center for upwards of 30 to 45 days.  Chemotherapy will be starting on Tuesday, January 23rd.

Thankfully, Curtis is young and healthy, and this will allow the doctors to attack this cancer with the most extreme form of treatment there is.  However, with that being said, it will result in Curtis being extraordinarily lethargic and unable to do much of anything.  If you know Curtis, you know how passionate he is about his job.  Unfortunately, it will be quite some time before Curtis will be able to return to work.  This will result in a large financial void for him and his beautiful family.  We know that Curtis is too gracious and modest to ask for assistance with the medical bills, travel funds, and personal expenses, but the costs of this horrific disease will begin to add up exponentially.

Due to the horrible flu that is going around, his wonderful daughter will not be able to visit him for the duration of this stay. This will be the hardest part of this process and thank goodness there is FaceTime to help soothe this unbelievable void that he will face.

Any small amount will greatly help Curtis and his family throughout this process.  If 500 people read this and donate $20 each, we will reach our goal.  We know that Curtis would strive to not only reach but exceed the goal he set out to accomplish...so we shall do the same!

I urge you to contribute any amount you can to help Curtis, Megan, and Emerson out!  Easing the financial burden on all of them will help to overcome the stress and pain that this horrific disease has put on them.
