Curtis' Kidney Campaign
Donation protected
Dear family, friends and strangers,
Our family has been struggling with an unimaginable health challenge as of late. Curtis (our son, husband, father and brother) is only 37 years old and has recently been added to the kidney donor list. He should be enjoying the prime of his life. Instead, he is managing chronic pain, fatigue and fear over what the future brings. Curtis married the love of his life in 2013. He had his first son, Bentley, in 2015 and his second son, Kingston, in 2018. He and his wife are welcoming their third child at the end of May. Curtis spends his time taking care of his family, working hard at his job and managing his home. On top of all of this, he has to follow a strict diet and recently completed a myriad of medical tests to become eligible for donation.
At this time, he is in need of a transplant as his kidney function has diminished and he is on the brink of needing dialysis. Unfortunately, there are not enough kidney donations to fulfill the needs of those who require a transplant. Several of his family members have applied to be a living donor but are unable to be donors at this time. We are reaching out to find individuals who might be interested in being a Living Donor. During this process, we have learned that we are able to function quite normally with just one kidney. If you are found to be a match, you would be saving his life. If you or someone you know would like to learn more, please private message me or click here for more information, and feel free to pass along this information.
We will use any funds raised for medical expenses not covered by health insurance for both Curtis and the Living Donor. Thank you!
With so much love and hope,
Curtis’ Family
