Curt and Jori Hammond unexpected medical expenses

Curtis has been hospitalized since July 27, 2021 fighting an epic battle for his life against severe pneumonia and all of its cardiopulmonary ramifications. He has endured various treatments including an extended stay in the ICU on a ventilator, ECMO apparatus and finally an invasive tracheotomy. As you can imagine many unexpected expenses occur for the family during a lengthy hospital stay. He and Jori have accumulated many unanticipated and unforeseen expenses that are and will become out of pocket (travel, missed days at work, outpatient therapy etc.) . We/they are asking for support to help offset these expenses and any that may not be covered by their insurance.

The goal in mind is 10 K to meet the assumed need. I/they ask for all who have the means for support in this truly humbling experience and effort to get things back on track in their lives. It is anticipated that Curt will be moved to in home physical therapy on 10/13/2021.

Let's put our best foot forward to support his cardiopulmonary and physical rehabilitation at home post a unanticipated burdens so that we get him back to the Curt that we all know and have grown to love throughout the years.
