On the late afternoon of October 15th 2023 Curtis, Amy and his two sons were involved in a fatal car accident. The two boys suffered fractured ribs and a broken leg. One of the boys was sent to Minneapolis MN for surgery to place a rod in his leg and the youngest boy suffered multiple broken ribs. Curtis and Amy also have two young girls that were thankfully not involved in the accident. Amy’s husband was pronounced dead at the scene and Amy was flown to Sioux Falls SD for life threatening injuries. Upon arrival to Avera McKennan she was sent to Avera Heart Hospital for surgery after discovering she had a torn aorta. Amy has several fractured ribs, lacerations, and a broken pelvis. She will undergo another surgery to fix her pelvis. We came here with heavy hearts to ask for any help with raising funds for medical bills, travel expenses, hotel costs, lost wages and funeral expenses and to help with their four kids.
