Some of the most exhilarating moments an actor can remember are the ones spent just behind the curtain.
Months of rehearsal, hours singing in your car, weeks tapping your toes in the grocery store aisles... it's all been leading up to those moments in the wings, tucked just behind the black curtains.
The lights go up. The music swells. Your heart pounds... and suddenly, it's time. Curtain's up.
Lyric Music Theater is a non-profit community theater - your community theater. And it needs some new black curtains for the wings and back wall. They're not the most glamorous elements of the theater, to be sure. But just behind those black curtains, a lot of us have formed some of our happiest, proudest memories.
If everyone who has stepped out from behind those curtains in the last two seasons contributes just $5, we'll reach our goal.
