Curly's end of life medical expenses
Donation protected
Monday March 8th 2021 Gerald "Curly" Knoblauch passed away at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac Wisconsin.
Saturday March 6th he was involved in a single car accident in Oshkosh. The only damages were to the car which is believed to be totaled but insurance has not yet made the decision. The true cause of the accident is unknown but the belief is that Curly suffered a stroke. He was cleared by paramedics because he had no visible injuries and was allowed to go home.
Sunday March 7th Curly went to pick up his wife of 40 years from work at the Campbellsport Piggly Wiggly. He was found unconscious in his truck by his wife Kim. 911 was called immediately and the manager of Piggly Wiggly made attempts to revive Curly but was unsuccessful. The paramedics took over and transported Curly to St. Agnes Hospital.
Monday March 8th, after attempts by the St. Agnes medical staff Curly was officially declared brain dead. His family made the decision to donate for life knowing full well that is what Curly would have wanted.
March 11th, which was also Curly's 60th birthday, he gave the gift of donation to hopefully help many others in need live long and healthy lives. Curly was a husband to Kimberly Knoblauch for 40 years this year. He was the father of Kyle (Jodi), Kolin (Marie) and Dakotah. Grandfather to Lillian, Emrick, Carter, Lincoln and Hayes. He was a kind and generous soul who always put others needs ahead of his own.
All donations will go towards Curly's medical and funeral expenses. Anything will be greatly appreciated in this difficult time. Thank You.
